Utilization Review RN


BASIC FUNCTION: RN/LPN will apply their expertise and utilize clinical criteria to request services for patients. Utilization Nurse will review cases to determine medical necessity, gather clinical information for various cases, handle requests from Providers and present cases that do not meet criteria to the Medical Director. Strong knowledge of Coding, HIPAA Laws, URAC, medical and diagnostic protocols beneficial.
